Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants/physician associates, pharmacists, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, dieticians, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with HIV, STIs, viral hepatitis, COVID-19, MPXV, and substance use disorders.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe how federal agencies are implementing a syndemic approach to addressing epidemics of HIV, STIs, viral hepatitis, COVID-19, MPXV, and substance use disorders.
- Identify how barriers to care impact health outcomes.
- Describe a synchronized syndemic approach to mitigating and ultimately eliminating syndemics and pandemics.
- Identify training and educational opportunities that support Black women’s health.
Instructions for Credit
To receive CE credit, learners must follow these steps at the conclusion of the conference:

- For the PACE activity: Login or Create an Account to complete the activity
- Upon completion of all evaluation questions, your credits will be made available immediately for PACE credit or within the next few weeks for CHES credit

PA Continuing Medical Education
PACE has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. Psychologist Continuing Education
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

Social Work Continuing Education
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Partners for Advancing Clinical Education is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.
