Alejandro holds a bachelor’s in health services administration and certified in leadership studies from Florida International University. Alejandro has helped develop and lead the first opt-out HIV, Hepatitis C (HCV) and syphilis screening program in Florida through the Frontlines of Communities in the United States (FOCUS) program model at Baptist Health of South Florida. Through Alejandro’s numerous years of hospital operations expertise and public health knowledge, he has disseminated this successful model both nationally and internationally, showcased through impactful presentations at conferences and documented in a publication.
