PrEP Now… Not Later!! Increasing PrEP Access Through Same-Day PrEP and TelePrEP

Podcast Area

This podcast will focus on the BIPOC population and those aged 13-34. In 2021, the new HIV infections of those aged 13-34 accounted for 58%. Same day and telePrEP is not a novel concept but it is highly under utilized. We will discuss the statistics and models on how to implement it.

Conversations on the Lived Experiences of Black Women with HIV

Podcast Area

Black women in the United States, and globally, are disproportionately affected by HIV. In multiple studies, Black women report feeling disrespected and dismissed when they do engage with healthcare providers. Additionally, the stigmas associated with HIV, race, and gender are interlinked and strongly influence decision making around engaging with treatment and preventative care. This podcast, a conversation between two Black women with more than a decade of HIV clinical care, beholds the experience of caring for Black women living with HIV and those who could benefit from PrEP - centering their lived experiences and strategies on how to better care for Black women.

Towards Zero: Evolving Approaches in HIV/STI and Harm Reduction
