Accreditation, Credit, and Support

In support of improving patient care, HealthHIV  is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Determination of exact number of credits is pending.

This activity is eligible for ANCC contact hours; the number of hours is pending.

AAPA Category 1 CME

HealthHIV has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for AAPA Category 1 CME credits; the credit count is pending review of the agenda. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

HealthHIV is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.


Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. The credit count is pending review of the agenda.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants/physician associates, pharmacists, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, dieticians, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with HIV, STIs, viral hepatitis, COVID-19, MPXV, and substance use disorders.
