Linda Scruggs

Linda H. Scruggs, DHL, MHS, LPC, is a respected community leader, HIV advocate, and educator with over 34 years of service. Diagnosed in 1990, she began as a women’s health advocate at Johns Hopkins University and later served as Director of Programs for an AIDS Alliance in Washington, DC. In 2012, she co-founded Ribbon – A Center of Excellence, a national nonprofit advancing outcomes for people impacted by HIV. She has received national recognition, including an Honorable Mention from President Barack Obama, and currently serves as Board Chair of The Well Project. Her work advances health, rights, and visibility for communities impacted by HIV.
