Sara Lentz, DNP, MSN, RN, CNL

Dr. Lentz is a Director of Nursing for UCSF’s Strategic Initiatives and the Gender Institute in San Francisco. She has more than 18 years of experience advancing equitable healthcare, with extensive work in gender-affirming care across health, education, and correctional systems globally. She was the first nurse internationally to receive certification as a Gender Affirmation Care Specialist. Dr. Lentz holds a Doctorate in Nursing with a focus on Executive Leadership from the University of San Francisco and is a board-certified Clinical Nurse Leader.
