Adam Visconti, MD, MPH is a family medicine trained physician who lives in the District of Columbia.
Dr. Visconti completed his MPH in Health Policy and management at UC Berkeley and his medical training at UC San Francisco. He completed residency in the District of Columbia at Georgetown University/Providence Hospital and worked as an assistant professor at the University of Maryland Department of Family and Community Medicine. He has published on numerous topics including: primary care for PWIDs, economic analysis for HCV treatment, comparative health systems, and HIV prevention. Dr. Visconti recently worked for DC Health for three years. In his role, he served as chief medical officer for HAHSTA initiatives, chief of the STD and TB Control Division, medical director for the DC Health and Wellness Center, and tuberculosis controller for the District of Columbia. He is currently a member of the Department of Family Medicine and serves as Director of CAPRICORN.
