Dr. Ian A. Cook, PharmD, AAHIVP, BCACP, DPLA, is the HIV Clinical Director for Baltimore Medical System Inc (BMS).
He is a board-certified, ambulatory care pharmacist and HIV certified pharmacist who is passionate about HIV care and expanding PrEP knowledge and access in the Baltimore area. BMS is the largest federally qualified health center in Maryland, is comprised of six clinics, eight school-based health locations, and serves 64,000 patients in Baltimore City. Dr. Cook joined BMS in 2022 to evolve the HIV/HCV testing and linkage program into treatment and to expand PrEP access. Prior to joining BMS, Dr. Cook was the Pharmacy Operations Coordinator for the John G. Bartlett Specialty Practice at the Johns Hopkins hospital for six years. In that role, he focused on pharmacy-clinic integration, enterprise-wide pharmacy HIV education, and the impact of pipeline developments on practice. Dr. Cook received his Doctor Pharmacy Degree from the Thomas Jefferson University College of Pharmacy in 2014 and is a Diplomat of the Pharmacy Leadership Academy.
