Matisse Monty (she/they) is a dynamic force promoting harm reduction as the Sex Worker Outreach Specialist at the Victory Connector.
With a strong academic foundation, Matisse holds an MPH from Boston University, specializing in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, complemented by a Certificate in Sex, Sexuality, and Gender.
Matisse's journey is not just about qualifications but lived experience, having been a former sex worker. Their unique perspective and insights drive their advocacy work, amplifying the voices of LGBTQ, polyamorous, BDSM, and sex worker communities.
Beyond academia, Matisse has been a compelling speaker, sitting on multiple panels and presenting at the NASPA Conference. Not one to shy away from breaking barriers, they pioneered the creation of a groundbreaking sex education program, HORNY the Sex Box, at Fort Lewis College.
