Octavio Pulido Carrillo holds the position of HIV Services Supervisor at La Clínica de la Raza and has been actively contributing to community health.
Originally from Mexico, Octavio has been a resident of the bay Area since 2004. Passionate about supporting the Immigrant Community, particularly the LGBTQ+, Octavio has been a dedicated advocate since his arrival in the Bay Area.
With a background in Psychology from Bonaterra University and additional studies in International Business from Universidad Panamericana, Octavio brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. In addition to his professional roles, Octavio is deeply involved in community service. He volunteers at different Community Organizations, contributing to HIV prevention education and support groups. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Octavio possesses strong communication skills, making a positive impact on the communities he serves.
Outside of his professional commitments, Octavio has a keen interest in Cats, Music, and fashion styling, showcasing his vibrant and creative side. Committed to a community free of stigma, Octavio believes in fostering unity and embracing each other's unique qualities.
