Scott Bertani

Scott D. Bertani is Director of Advocacy for HealthHIV and the National Coalition for LGBTQ Health.


Having worked within the field of HIV and communicable diseases for over 20 years, Scott brings to the table perspectives as both a long-term and graying consumer of HIV services and front-line leader in the care as prevention field. At HealthHIV, Scott leads the National Coalition for LGBTQ Health (with over 600 provider partners) and its (20th) annual LGBTQ Health Awareness Week. He advocates in several state coalitions to expand healthcare access and equity, patient-provider decision-making, and policies designed though a social determinants of health (SDOH) lens.
