BallroomMeet the challenges of today’s policy landscape with actionable strategies for igniting and sustaining change. This closing plenary session will examine how advocacy at different levels of the healthcare and prevention continuum can better move in concert together. This plenary session will engage participants in advocacy across HIV, HCV, STIs, Drug User and LGBTQ Health, Immunocompromised Communities, and Health Equity, and closes SYNC 2026 with a clear call to action as we move Forward in SYNChronicity through advocacy.

BallroomThis morning plenary session on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 9:00am Eastern will bring together nationally recognized leaders who exemplify true synchronicity across scientific discovery, clinical practice, policy, and real-world implementation. This session will highlight how aligning drug user health, long COVID, and vaccine research, care delivery, advocacy, and public health strategy accelerates meaningful impact, advances innovation, and improves outcomes — particularly for communities most affected by chronic diseases.

Join Dr. Demetre Daskalakis for a star-studded “late night” chat about innovations in HIV prevention, PrEP optionality, and the importance of expanding access to HIV prevention for marginalized communities. Special guests Eternity Franks, Kieta Mutepfa, RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Mandy Mango, and Professor Patrick Sullivan will share their insights on starting and staying on PrEP, explore how PrEP options help fit various individuals’ needs, and discuss the role we all play in helping to End the HIV Epidemic.
