Angelique Griffin is the FOCUS Regional Director Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Connecticut where she develops and manages FOCUS partnerships with health care providers, community organizations, and health departments to implement screening and linkage to care initiatives for HIV and Viral Hepatitis.
Angelique has extensive public health knowledge and experience in epidemiology, health policy, and data use strategies to guide public health programs and interventions. Prior to Gilead, Angelique directed HIV, hepatitis, and STD surveillance programs in D.C.’s HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STD, and TB Administration (HAHSTA). She also coordinated the development of an integrated monitoring and evaluation system that combined prevention, care, and surveillance data systems.
Angelique Griffin is a proud native of Baltimore, MD. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from UMBC and a Master of Science in Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine from University of Maryland, Baltimore.
