Aurin Roy (they/them) is a Senior Planning Analyst with the Ryan White Program and Data and Assessment Team at Hennepin County Public Health.
Aurin's work with the Ryan White Program focuses on advancing health equity for people living with HIV, particularly around housing. They are also engaged in quality improvement activities to reduce racial disparities in Ryan White consumers’ viral suppression rates.
With the Data and Assessment Team, Aurin analyzes population-level public health data on LGBTQ+ youth and adults in Hennepin County to highlight the vital health needs of this community. They explore new ways of collecting and reporting LGBTQ+ public health data to better engage partners in these data and ensure that the data reflect local LGBTQ+ communities.
Aurin is originally from New Jersey and has a B.A. in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. They are passionate about health equity, harm reduction, LGBTQ+ health, and public health law.
