Desiree Smith, DrDPH, works in health equity research and evaluation.

From the start of Dr. Smith's career, her work has been dedicated to diverse populations and facilitating health equity strategies. She has spent the past decade dedicating her career to making sexual and reproductive health a priority in diverse settings such as universities, state health departments, global healthcare agencies, and non-profit organizations. Currently, she works in health equity research and evaluation for domestic and global impact. Furthermore, she dually volunteers with diverse advocacy organizations to advocate and organize for reproductive and environmental health rights and justice, PIC abolition, as well as liberation for all Black and Indigenous peoples.
