Jacob Watson is an HIV epidemiologist who currently works with the State of Michigan in the Bureau of HIV and STI Programs.
Prior to his work with the State of Michigan he worked for a NGO based in New York City that focused on building and strengthening public health systems in developing countries. He also served as a adjunct professor at New York Medical College teaching methods of epidemiological surveillance. Currently, his main job duties at MDHHS are working with HIV Care related programs: including Data to Care and Data to Care RX. He also monitors HIV network and new diagnoses for the state.
