Kevin Moore, PsyD, is Executive Director of Courage Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, and a Faculty Member of the AIDS Education and Training Center of New York, New Jersey, and Puerto Rico.
Dr. Moore is a clinician and administrator who designs and implements high-quality integrative healthcare for vulnerable and underserved populations. Dr. Moore focuses on evolving harm reduction from being a social justice movement to becoming a standard practice in healthcare. He established more than 70 treatment programs across ten states, primarily Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) programs that integrate mental health and primary care. 48 of the OBOTs have been designated Centers of Excellence for Opioid Use Disorder in Pennsylvania as well as the first Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) program to be HIV-specific. He is second author of Integrative Medicine for Vulnerable Populations: A Guide to Working with Chronic and Comorbid Medical Disease, Mental Illness, and Addiction, which was published in 2020. He has been a principal investigator in more than 20 service demonstration projects for NIDA, HRSA, CDC, and SAMHSA all dealing with the intersection of addiction, mental health, sexual health, and infectious diseases.
