Lauren Banks, MFA, M.Div, is Executive Director of the National HIV/AIDS Housing Coalition.
Lauren has worked in HIV/AIDS and housing policy for over a decade. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the National HIV/AIDS Housing Coalition where she has worked for seven years. Lauren is an expert in housing and health policy, focusing on opportunities for preventing HIV transmission among the unhoused community and expanding housing option for people living with HIV. Lauren is interested in the intersection of housing insecurity with drug use, sex work, trauma, and LGBTQIA isolation. She is a proud Southerner and holds two Masters degrees—one in poetry and one in divinity.
