Leo Sheridan, MLS, CCHW, PBT
Leo Sheridan is Capacity Building Assistance Manager at HealthHIV.
Leo is an Afro-Latino native of Washington, D.C. With a background in Broadway performance and fervent advocacy, he champions Harm Reduction, LGBTQ+ Rights, and progressive policies. Collaborating with esteemed organizations like Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, ACT UP, and The Trevor Project, he blends artistic talent with healthcare legal expertise. He serves as Capacity Building Assistance Manager at HealthHIV, and leads vital initiatives such as the DC Engage program, TEACH for CHW training on HIV/HCV and drug user health in the state of Maryland, as well as the Black Women's Health Initiative. Previously, he worked hands-on as a Community Health Worker and phlebotomist, testing and connecting individuals to care for HIV, STIs, and Harm Reduction resources. Mr. Sheridan holds degrees from The Catholic University of America and the University of Oklahoma College of Law (Healthcare Law).
