  • Spilling the Tea: How Medical Mistrust Impacts HIV/STI Prevention and Treatment for Young LGBTQ+ Black Women and Girls
    Black people have experienced medical violence throughout history. This violence impacts how LGBTQ+ young people, especially young Black LGBTQ+ women and girls, access healthcare options in their community and whether or not they trust their provider recommendations for their health. This workshop will explore how medical mistrust impacts health outcomes for young LGBTQ+ black women/girls and their willingness to access HIV prevention and treatment options within their communities.
