Amy Jacobs, LMSW is a Senior Clinical Social Worker with the HIV/AIDS Treatment Program at the University of Michigan and has been providing HIV-specific social work for 20 years.
Amy is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Professional Association of Social Workers in HIV & AIDS (PASWHA), and OutCare Health, a national organization to provide resources and education to providers and patients and create more LGBTQ+ affirming healthcare (outcarehealth.org). Amy regularly presents at national, regional, and state-level conferences. Her areas of specialty and interest include HIV and mental health, LGBTQ+ health and mental healthcare, consensual non-monogamy, BDSM/Kink, healthcare disparities, transference and countertransference, social work ethics, and trauma-informed care.
