Janice Lin is a Staff Analyst for the Bureau of HIV, STI and Viral Hepatitis Prevention at the Houston Health Department (HHD).

Her primary focus is on surveillance, evaluation and analysis of STI data and methods of STI prevention. Janice created a data collection tool using REDCap during the Syphilis Outbreak Response. She also assists with Quality Assurance (QA) projects for the Bureau. Previously, Janice worked in the Data Services group within HHD, where she served as a Team Lead for the Reporting Team. She was responsible for generating and conducting QA for Covid-19 and mpox reports.Janice is happy to be working for HHD, since she is passionate about giving back to the city she was born and raised in.
