In 2021, the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) took initiative to put Syndemic theory into praxis by establishing End the Syndemic Tennessee (ETS). ETS is a dynamic initiative that includes a comprehensive community-informed strategic plan, five pilot projects integrating prevention and care services across the syndemic, and special projects to enhance the ability to meet those disproportionately impacted HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), substance misuse, and viral hepatitis. This presentation delves into facilitators and lessons learned in Tennessee about implementing effective syndemic approaches within community and clinical settings among diverse populations. - Detroit United for Health: Mobilizing Communities to Confront Health Disparities—Syphilis and HCV
